We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Analyst (onsite) at our Calgary base in the Information Technology department.
While you may not be flying the helicopter or providing patient care, as a member of STARS’ IT team, you will play an important role in STARS’ life-saving mission. Be part of something bigger. Be part of our team.
Position Summary:
The Desktop Support Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of STARS’ desktop and office infrastructure, in service to our teams and mission. This position acts as the primary point of service for end-users who need technical assistance with hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with exceptional customer service to resolve incidents efficiently, support users in effective technology usage & adoption, and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident management and technical support including:
- First and second level support
- Ticket management
- Remote and on-site assistance
- Hardware and software administration including:
- Deployment
- Maintenance
- Asset management
- User account management and security
- Documentation and knowledge sharing
- Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred
- 3+ years of direct IT service desk support is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11 and macOS environments, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis.
